About buildings paper models
Architecture is the advanced class of papercraft, and this section is arranged accordingly: the Great Pyramid is four triangles and five minutes, Big Ben and the White House are relaxed evening builds, and Neuschwanstein Castle — the fairytale original behind Disney’s — is a genuine weekend project. Most building templates here are multi-page PDFs with printed stonework, brick and glazing.
Landmarks work well as themed sets: pair Big Ben with the London Taxi and double-decker bus, or the U.S. Capitol with the White House. Teachers use these models for geography and history lessons — a class that builds the Globe Theatre remembers the Globe Theatre. Print on cardstock; tall towers appreciate the extra stiffness.
